Hauner Travels - Around The Block

Hi 

I am  Tamara. I am 8 years old. I was born in October 22nd. I am traverling around Austraila for a year. For 4 weeks I will be with my aunty and my uncle.

This is how I do school: On Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Thursdays I go on the computer with Sarah, my internet teacher. I have a boy in my class. He is the same age as me and his name is Nathen. I go on computer for an hour. All the other days dad and mum teach me for 3 hours each day.I have a big box of school work.

This is my daily life. I get up at 9:00 and go to bed at 9:30.  I usually have bread for breakfast and get sick of driving on travel days.  After breakfast I  do school work to 3/4 hours. Then we have lunch and then do something good.

 I have friends to play with and swim all day I go to the playground and do trips to places I have fun. I am sad to leave my friends but happy to go to the next spot. Some caravan parks are really cool like Busselton that has everything even a cool swimming pool, a jumping pillow and the playground was ok.

I miss all  my friends back in Adelaide like Aisha, Kira, Caitlin, Isabella, Luca, Jasper, Sam, Aiden and  Sophie (dog) and Jasper (our cat). I also miss family especially Brianna - I can't wait till Brianna comes and joins us in Queensland.

• Tumby Bay - we went to a beach and I caught the biggest fish of the trip so far.
• Coffin Bay - my dad got a nice cabin in front of the water for our family.  We spent so much time there in the cabin.
• Streaky Bay - it was really hot. We were right in front of the water. This is where we started school. Met some kids that were travelling around Austraila.
• Ceduna - I started school with Sarah here and not a good fishing spot if on Jetty.As well as soooooooooooooooo many flys.
• Nullubor Plains - 2 days of lots of driving. We drove to WA, we all jumped over the border 50 times. Has the longest straight road  in Austraila boring. Eucla had a cool pond with frogs in it.
• Esperance - a place that has strict rules. Tante Gudrun and Uncle Ray came for some nights even on Uncle Ray's birthday. There is a beach called Hell Fire Beach and it has clear water and great climbing rocks. Saw Hotel For Dogs in movies.
• Hopetoun - had a massive playground that was really cool.
• Bremer Bay - played tennis with dad and Brodie. Walked around lake with everyone. Had a scary jetty.
• Albany - went to Whaleworld, it was a massive place with 3D whale movies, it felt like you could reach out and touch them. It had a big slide . Had Hungry Jacks for first time on the trip........yummmmmmmmmmy. It also rained for the first time.
